From the Golden Week of spring, 2007 to the Bird Week,In Tohoku Electric Power-green plaza of Aoba-ku, Sendai-shi, I did a solo exhibition. It was the largest-scale exhibition in things of now.
Birds were exhibited in category drawn game called a bird seen at a bird and the forest of the four seasons, a waterside, downtown, night in the meeting place. At first from a season zone, the bird of the four seasons.
Next exhibition category is a forest zone. Birds living in the forest are Maine.After all the first Golden Eagle was attracted attention.
Next exhibition category is a forest zone. Waterfowl is Maine. I reproduced the courtship display of the pair of the Japanese crane in size of the original of this time first challenge.
The last exhibition category is a knight zone. Three kinds of owls were exhibited.
I was able to finish an exhibition in the prosperity very much too paper craft lesson is held on the last day. I thank sponsors very much! I wish a big exhibition is possible again.
SOAR
I participated in SOAR to start 2006 just like I did in 2005
The golden eagle of Ueno Zoo is an appearance again. It is the adult bird size that is one size bigger than freedom of the young bird size of the last year. As for the name "Strike Freedom." After all I am huge.
A metal which I made with an experimental trial-colored golden eagle. Popular name "metal golden eagle." A nail, a flight feather seem to be totally a knife and swords to a bill of the steel, and it seems to be a weapon from head to foot.

Wing - Solo exhibition of Ikuo Anazawa''s paper crafts
I am glad that the exhibition at Ueno Zoo was successfully over. It was my first solo exhibition and here are some reports.

This map shows where in the Zoo you can see the real birds whose paper works were exhibited.
In the entrance area, there exhibited were the birds which are familiar to everyone and frequently seen in town.<
Then the visitors encountered blakiston's eagle-owl in its actual size.
This was my first trial to make Japanese CRANE in actual size. Wing width and total body length was so big that visitors might felt it enormous.
Next one is a whooper swan again in actual size. I repeatedly made it every year for the University festival even after my graduation.
Here are small birds again on a partition wall. They are mainly summer birds.
On the partition behind the entrance was a large life-size Steller's sea-eagle. It had the biggest wings among all in the exhibition.
Winter birds (except for a king fisher) were shown in front of the sea-eagle.
White-tailed sea eagle in actual size was located between a Steller's Sea-eagle and a golden eagle.
A Golden Eagle was competing against Steller's Sea-eagle in popularity. It was much bigger than its baby bird which I exhibited In the previous exhibition in January. A scared small child burst into tears to see it.
On the wall which the Golden Eagle was watching was,,, a snake.
More than 40 kinds of birds were exhibited and it is a little pity that I could not show all of them here. The exhibition was a very fruitful event. I met many people, discovered lots of things, and obtained numerous good experiences. I would like to thank everyone who helped me and also all visitors. They gave me the best memory I never forget and encouraged me to step forward my creative life.

SOAR -The first group exhibition I participated
A group exhibition which I participated for the first time took place in Ginza for a week. It was very fun.
Hi! I am FUKUSUKE, Ural Owl. I was a kind of mascot of the exhibition. Many visitors took their photos with me which made me quite happy. Well, let me guide to SOAR exhibition.
The exhibition took place in a 3 story gallery with comfortable atmosphere. Berry dance shows and violin concert were held in the basement. Though the group had 30 members, one whole floor was devoted for works related to birds as this year is the Chinese year of bird. The floor was occupied by paintings by Minowa-san, a bird painter, origami works by Usuta-san, and paper craft birds
Blakiston's eagle-owl welcomed visitors at the entrance.
This Golden Eagle created in actual size was overwhelming. Many people seemed to be astonished. I felt rather scary.
A swan and a Japanese crane were there of course.
They were twice as big as commercialized models and half of life sizes.

Here are Pheasant and mandarin duck in actual sizes. There were a lot more to see which you could see only at the exhibition but let me finish now. I hope I can report them to you on other occasions.
